When you sign up for Solo or Pro:
- The first 14 days are free. No card asked.
- On day 11 we email a heads-up that the trial ends in 3 days.
- On day 14 we email asking for a card. The Stripe Customer Portal link in the email opens directly on the payment-method form.
- If a card is saved, the subscription continues seamlessly into a paid month.
- If no card is saved by day 15, the subscription downgrades to free automatically. No charge ever.
What you keep on free after a trial ends:
- All your monitored sites are kept (capped to your free-tier limit; extras pause).
- All your audit history is kept for 6 months (free) vs 12 months (Solo) vs unlimited (Pro/Agency).
- Citation tracking results are kept but new runs stop firing (Pro+ feature).
Upgrading mid-trial: just add a card via /app/billing or /pricing - the trial credit is preserved and we only start billing after day 14.
