How does citation tracking work? (Pro+)

We run prompts against ChatGPT/Claude/Perplexity/Gemini weekly and report whether your brand was cited.

Citation tracking is a Pro+ feature. You configure 5 prompts (Pro) or 25 prompts (Agency); we run each prompt against four AI engines weekly and log:

  1. Whether your brand was mentioned at all.
  2. Whether your specific URL appeared as a citation.
  3. Position in the cited-source list.
  4. Sentiment (positive / neutral / negative).
  5. Share-of-voice vs configured competitors.

First time setup is wizard-driven on /app/sites/{id}/citations - we auto-suggest 3 starter prompts based on your site title + category. Cost is built into the Pro/Agency price; we use our own API keys.
